About the Role

SWVL is looking to hire a Manager, Category Program Management based out of Dubai, UAE. This role will be a part of the Central Business team. In this role you will be responsible for driving performance improvement measures by devising a strategic execution approach spanning across Category wide functions. You will be working on identifying new avenues for growth, building processes and products to achieve sustainable growth, by understanding business value propositions end-to-end.

What You'll Do

● Work with core business team members to streamline and define business processes,

identify problem statements and product solutions

● Complete ownership of the delivery of new process and product capabilities by working

alongside business, tech, and product teams

● End to end program management of key strategic initiatives identified for driving

performance improvement

● Work with cross-functional internal teams for timely deliverables

● Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking key business metrics

● Constant performance monitoring and project revisions, basis outputs

● Working closely with the city operations teams to ensure the operationalisation of the

plans agreed to achieve targets

● Brainstorm with city teams on what customer wants, understanding the size of the

market for the asked values, and help building the solution as a value proposition offered

to customer through process, product or both

● Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional teams and drive the

changes required

● Analyse data and insights to spot consumer and industry trends to grow the category -

translate category metrics into actionable plans as determined by different inputs which

drive category performance

● Interpret the company-wide vision and direction set forth by the leadership and establish

the vision, direction, and plans for your teams

What You"ll Need

● 5+ yrs. of professional work experience, preferably having worked at a high growth

Startup and/or Management Consulting firm

● Tier 1 undergraduate / MBA degree

● Deep interest in product/tech-driven problem solving

● Strong data-driven analytical skills

● Ability to think creatively about business problems and implement sustainable solutions

● Good stakeholder management skills

● Excellent written, communication, research, and analytical skills

● And above all, have a passion within him/ her to make an impact and drive change in the organization
